2. Which candidates will need to renew their certification?

All candidates with the above certifications will need to renew within three years of their original certification dates. For your candidates, this will mean:

所有拥有上述证书的考生都需要在证书签发日期的三年内更新。相关时间节点如下：

• If certified before 30 June 2020: your candidates will have until 1 July 2023 to renew their certification, regardless of their original award  date.

  如果在2020年6月30日（含）之前获得的证书：将在2023年7月1日之前更新其证书，无论他们最初的签发日期。

• If certified after June 2020: your candidates will have to renew their certification(s) within 3 years of the  original award date.

  如果在2020年7月1日（含）以后获得的认证：必须在最初签发日期的3年内更新其证书。

3. How can candidates renew their certification?

From 15 January 2023, there will be two renewal paths available to candidates:

从2023年1月15日起，有两种证书更新路径

• Retake the same exam:  Candidates can renew their certification through re-taking their original  exam before the renewal date.

  重新参加同一证书对应的考试

   

• Take further courses and certifications:  Candidates can renew their certification by attending another course and taking an exam within the same product suite before the renewal date.

• 参加更高级别的课程和认证

From March 2023, a third renewal path will be available to candidates:

• Collect and log CPD points: Candidates can renew their certification through collecting and logging CPD points, more details on this path will follow in January.

Candidates who do not renew will still be included on the Successful Candidates Register (SCR) and the Candidate Verification Service, but a note will be added to their record to indicate that their certification needs to be renewed to align with current certification requirements.

In January 2023, PeopleCert will share more information to candidates on when and how to renew their certification. Their renewal options will be visible through their PeopleCert accounts, starting 15 January 2023.
